Hotness aside this hasn't looked great. Will probably catch later on down the dvd line.

It's simple. Most film studios are run by large corporations who also have music divisions. The film execs ask the music execs what songs they are planning on releasing around the same time as their movie, then put those in their movie, which in turn helps sell the songs.

And then there's Anna Faris, who seems to be the only extra-hot chick out there who isn't afraid to make herself look foolish to get a laugh, and that makes her original.

She's essentially what Jenny McCarthy wanted to be, except that Jenny McCarthy had no comic timing and was just sort of crass instead of being genuinely funny. She's also hotter than McCarthy.

There's no other super-cute chick out there who can do comedy like Faris. She doesn't take herself too seriously, and that's the key to her success and watchability. She's hot. She knows she's hot. But she's willing to temporarily compromise her hotness if it's for comedic effect.

I've come to admire her for that. She's got a long career ahead of her if she can keep that vibe going... And even if she gets old and stop being hot, she'll still be funny, and her career will therefore last longer than many other actresses.

Jenny McCarthy is the shit.

Seriously, if Rainn Wilson was a hot chick, you'd have loved The Rocker. Just admit it. He totally held that film together, and played the scene where he has to convince emo-boy lead singer to go with him as their drummer perfectly. Too little, and we have no sympathy for either of them going into the second act. Too much, it's just annoying or schaltzy. Rainn hit it straight down the middle, but you were too probably too busy waiting for Emma to show some belly or Christina some cleavage.

Nothing against Faris or The House Bunny. I haven't seen it yet. But dude. Really?
