More on the SPIDER-MAN casting!!!

Hey folks, Harry here. Seems that Hollywood Reporter is reporting that the screentests that our spies Lo Wang and that mysterious Management source had said was coming, has indeed come to pass. And they confirmed that James Franco was in the mix... and then listed two other actors and one additional rumored actor. And the good news is Freddie Prinze Jr was nowhere in sight.

Like the Management dude and Lo Wang confirmed, James Franco (above) was there.

Next up is a complete unknown to me. Jay Rodan. Now, Jay is in the upcoming Samuel L Jackson movie, CAVEMAN'S VALENTINE... where he plays a homeless man with schizophrenia that hunts down a murder somehow... But I have no idea who Jay Rodan plays in that film. And prior to this film... he's a ghost. I could find no images. Which... personally, I count as a good thing.

And lastly, The Hollywood Reporter noted that Tobey Maguire was RUMORED to be in the mix. I've got my folks at Sony looking into this... Hopefully we'll hear soon. Most likely a decision is pretty close (a couple of weeks at most).
