Greetings, citizens! ROBOGEEK here with a tidbit of news that just might interest some of you...
We all know that HARRY POTTER, based on the insanely successful children's book, is moving forward at Warners, with Chris Columbus on board to direct a script by the most excellent Steve Kloves. But who will be Harry Potter? Spielberg had apparently wanted Haley Joel Osment, and not being able to cast him may have contributed to his decision to not do the project (he's since cast him in A.I.).
It seems that the powers that be are committed to cast a British kid in the role, per the demands of POTTER author J. K. Rowlings. And thus the search has begun for what could arguably be the biggest casting coup this side of Anakin Skywalker.
So here's your chance, folks as well as the other characters described in the first book ("Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone").
