Hi, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab...
Okay, I have to admit... WORLD WAR Z is a pretty great title for an epic movie set ten years after the zombie apocalypse. According to the always-on-the-ball Borys Kit over at THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, Brad Pitt’s Plan B and Leo Di Caprio’s Apian Way ended up in a bidding war to see who was going to end up producing this project, based on an upcoming book by Max Brooks. He’s the same guy who wrote THE ZOMBIE SURVIVAL GUIDE, which was a very straightfaced joke. WORLD WAR Z is evidently not a joke at all, and we’ll see how Paramount plans to adapt this piece. Right now, no writers or director have been attached, but expect them to start moving quickly to fill those slots in the days ahead.
