Holy cow, I hope so. I’ve been hearing vague mumblings about Revolution Studios picking up WATCHMEN in turnaround from Universal, and everything seems to indicate it’s still going to be David Hayter directing his amazing adaptation that I first reviewed almost exactly a year ago.
The big question for fans now is... who the hell do you get to play these characters? Thanks to today’s scooper, maybe we have our first answer. Check it out:

Persistent evidence indicates the WATCHMEN movie is set up now at Revolution and John Cusack is attached to play Dan/Nite-Owl.

Cross your fingers. That’s cool casting for one character, and if they get real actors instead of just the flavors of the month to fill out the cast, Hayter’s got a shot at something great.
