Hey, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab.
It's official: Jon Favreau is Foggy Nelson in Mark Steven Johnson's DAREDEVIL, joining the previously announced cast including Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, Colin Farrell, and Michael Clarke Duncan.
It was confirmed in this story on VARIETY, but I actually heard confirmation from Sean Astin the other day at Brentano's, where we chatted before the booksigning he particpated in with Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, and the lovely Philippa Boyens.
"So my buddy Jon's going to be in DAREDEVIL," he said. "Man, I would've liked to play that role." He was smiling as we talked about the film and the great script for it, and he told me how much fun he thinks Jon is going to have in the film.
Looks like MSJ's got his cast in place now. Can't wait to see how this one comes together once he starts shooting. Those Quesada storyboards... drooooooooooollllll.....
